“Is God’s Word True?”

God said never let the fire go out! Let us be “Keepers of the Flame”.

What does it mean to be a “Caped” crusader for God?

That “Covering”, that Cape is so important!

As faithful Priest, let us never leave home without it!

“Do You have Your Gotham?” > Chapter Nineteen

THE ENCOUNTER III > If Indianapolis is my Gotham, then the events of RFRA, and the LGBT community is to big to be ignored. (This account began last chapter.) It is not normal for Indianapolis to be national news except in race events, or perhaps football. So if I am to be honest in my accounting of taking the spiritual welfare of my city, and my own neighborhood as a very personal matter, then my silence during this time would be deafening and render my honesty as suspect. I’m not worried about my reputation, only God’s testimony through me. I’m use to being a nobody. Whether I succeed in my mission for God, or fail miserably, I want this Gotham series to be a true account of what can happen when you truly say, “Here am I, Lord. Send me.”

If you read this chapter and love it, chapter one begins in archives dated Dec. 7, 2014.

Don had listened to the news reports all day long. His city, his Gotham, the city that he loved was being pounded from every direction. Politicians were reeling and scrambling to hold special sessions and try to fix the bill that nothing was wrong with, but mass delusion was upon the nation and Indianapolis was the target. Businesses were threatening to pull out, conferences were threatening to cancel and Satan’s favorite weapon, MONEY, “appeared” to be draining from this city like blood from a wounded and dying man.

As the days slowly passed, it was revealed what our leaders were truly made of. The Mayor, the Governor, even the Church, all was revealed. Yes, this city is vulnerable, very vulnerable. It can be taken. It is being taken.

Don was home in his sanctuary, praying and pondering these things. A firestorm was raging in his city, but there was no wisdom. A book on a shelf caught his eye, “Day of War”, by Cliff Graham. He pulled it from the shelf and thought back to the day he first read this book and began to get a revelation about the “Covering” of God, and becoming a true Priest, a Caped Crusader. Opening a few pages, he rereads the scriptures:

“Oh Lord, my Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle.”  (Psalms 140:7 ESV)

“I have bestowed strength on a warrior; I have raised up a young man from among the people. I have found David my servant; with my sacred oil I have anointed him.”  (Psalms 89:19-20 NIV)

What is this thing of taking God’s business very seriously? This is God’s city, not man’s, and though man may think he is running the show, man is really such a weak little thing, in need of a great God, and after man has made all his loud boasts and flaunted his darkness in broad daylight…he still answers to God. There is one throne, and one God who sets upon it.

“This is where you planted me, Lord. To be a light and do your will. None of this is a surprise to you. The battle between light and darkness, love and hate, godliness and unrighteousness. It never ends upon this planet and your people stand in the gap between heaven and hell proclaiming your word. Let man make his boasts and flaunt his darkness, but in the end your word, and your people, still stands.”

“It is a dark night, Lord, and a greater darkness cometh, gross darkness upon the minds of the people, but what does it mean to be a dark knight in dark times? Leaving the Church box and invading the night? Willing to be a light shining, invading, going into the darkness in the power of God’s secret things, the power of Priesthood, a revelation ready to go forth, and when it does your army will rise in greater numbers than man has imagined, and more power than any man can possess. For it is not the man, but it is God flowing through the man. We are called to be vessels that carry your Presence and speak your truth in love and grace, but also a warning of judgment.”

Don thought back to his childhood days in the country, alone with God, and a love for comic books. Batman was one of his favorites. Gotham was always being invaded by some new evil, but Batman was there, paying the price to stand in the gap and save a city. In these days we now live, it is much more than homosexuality we face, but there is the murder of babies, sex without responsibility, rampant pornography, alcoholism, drug addiction, and possibly a generation rising who is “fearless”. Fearless to do whatever good, or evil, they see befitting. Will the Church be a strong tower to run to in this time? Or a bunch of people just hiding? Will you come out into the darkness, oh man of God?

I can hear the Joker laughing his insane laugh. The Riddler has cast his best riddles for you to solve. Catwoman is seducing whomever she may. Two-Face is spinning his lies and flipping his coin. Mr. Freeze would freeze you in fear and keep you hiding in your nice little Church box. BUT THERE IS A COVERING FOR THOSE WHO DARE TO ENTER A SUPERNATURAL SURRENDER, AND LET GOD BE GOD THROUGH THEM. God is always looking for the few, the Gideon’s army, who will break their vessel so God’s light can shine, and the enemy destroys each other. They are good at that, you know. So full of hate and confusion, serving the one who destroys, they usually destroy each other, but we are here to save them from that destruction.

Don laid the book, “Day of War” on the coffee table, grabbed his keys and headed for the door. It would be dark by the time he got downtown, but there was a place that had become a focal point for him, and God was drawing him there. A certain War Memorial with 91 steps leading to a pair of golden doors, with words that said, Spirit, Life, Light, and Truth. He loved to workout on those steps and also pray for the city on the walkway that looped around it. He would run up the 91 steps and then pray as he did the loop. He could always see the Circle Monument rising up into the skyline just a few blocks southward, and it would cause him to pray even more. He needed a spiritual and physical workout right now. There were some demons he needed to exercise as he climbed into the Silver Bullet and started shifting gears towards downtown. Little did he know he would encounter a Motivational Speaker that night, practicing his speech. (But that must wait for next chapter, coming soon.)

“J.E.D.I. Theology #3”

Do you have that desire? Then we need to get back to : THE WAY.

“And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of THIS WAY,…” Acts 9:1-2

It seems my Internet is still up for one more day, so thought I might as well take advantage. As promised, I would like to add to our “J.E.D.I. Theology” series.

IS THE DESIRE ALIVE AND WELL IN YOU? To be more. To grow in your Priesthood. To desire mastery. To desire for the Holy Spirit to master you. Then we need to master “PRAYER”. It is possibly our greatest source of power. The J.E.D.I. Christian knows that the way up, is actually downward, humility, servant, Person of Prayer.

Here is something I believe only a J.E.D.I. Christian can appreciate. I have been working on memorizing Psalms 112. I have been working at it for some time. I’m slow on memorizing. Consequently, I have repeated these scriptures countless times in my effort. The other day I was SHOCKED to see a new light on some scripture and it became a very powerful prayer to pray! Let me give you the pieces, and then I will explain.

Psalms 112:1a > “Praise ye the Lord. …”

Vrs 8b > “… until he see his desire upon his enemies.”

Vrs. 10 > “The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.”

Okay, in these verses you have a very powerful prayer! As I was quoting one day, the Lord asked me, “What is your desire for your enemies?”

“I would like to see them saved, Lord.”

“Then pray the last verse with that in mind.”

“With what in mind, Lord? That they melt and perish?”

“No, but that there heart melts, and their “desire” for evil perishes. Pray for the Holy Spirit to turn up the heat! Let their wicked desires become a bad taste in their mouth and their hearts melt away from being a cold stone.”

Wow, I thought. What David probably meant in the O.T. is not the same as what we are in the N.T.. And when I looked at that scripture through N.T. eyes, I saw a powerful prayer of salvation and revival in the earth!

My time is short today, but if you desire to  have “JESUS EVERY DAY INTENSE” & “JUDGE EVERY DAY INSPIRED”, then get a handle on Psalms 112 and begin to rise up in “THE WAY” of Christ and change our neighborhoods and cities. “Praise ye the Lord!”

star wars 01

I’ve been praying about this for a while, the need to add something to the word “Christian” in order to differentiate between a real “Follower of Christ”, and someone who simply wants to be a “good person”. Jesus’s call to be a good person was the words, “Follow me.”

Several weeks ago I was in a Half Price bookstore looking for a book by Leonard Sweet, but in the process of this I stumbled upon a book by Dick Staub. I was unfamiliar with him, but his last name was so close to Sweet that his book was right there too, and it caught my eye. The title caught my eye. “Christian Wisdom of the Jedi Masters”. Right away I thought, “Oh no, something trying to mix New Age with Christianity, but because I do like the Star Wars analogy, I just had to take a peek. Much to my surprise I was impressed with what I thought I saw and just had to bring it home and give close inspection. Since beginning to read it, I can hardly put it down!

Here is a key to the heart of this book and an example of what I’m talking about: > “This book was born during a conversation with a young man named Ed, who described to me his desire to go deeper in his spiritual life as well as his uncertainty about how to make that happen. We had just seen the latest installment of the Star Wars prequels, so I restated his issue in that context: “It’s like you want to be a ‘Jedi Christian’ and my generation didn’t produce a Yoda.” (Looking For A Yoda – Page xix) Part of the Introduction.

Boy do I feel like I can identify with that statement, and maybe you do too. Most of what I have learned I feel like I was forced to learn on my own while fighting every step of the way until I finally got there. Because of that, it took a whole lot longer than it should have. The book had my attention already.

Now realize when I stumbled on this book, I had already been writing my “More than a Christian” articles. I was looking for a word to attach to Christian, but did not know what? Holiness Christian? We all know the downfalls of that reference, I hope. Remnant Christians? Now that’s a worn out term lacking any newness. But here was this guy, Dick Staub, writing incredible stuff and calling it Jedi Christian. (Hhmmm. I don’t know. Maybe?)

For me, there was something else needed. That word, Jedi, needed to mean something besides Star Wars in my mind, so I started playing with acronyms, or a mantra of sorts. Here is what I am currently settled on:

Jesus Every Day Intense!

Judge Every Day Inspired!

Now there is much I can say about these two acronyms, but for now lets leave it at this> If you make it a goal to have Jesus intense every day, then in the end of that day you will be able to > Judge every day inspired! Now that is what J.E.D.I. Christianity has become to me. It has challenged  and inspired me! The more I have said it, the more it is what my mind sees when I say Jedi!

So…here’s the deal. My series of “More than a Christian” now evolves into “J.E.D.I. CHRISTIANITY”. This series will fit very well with my Real Life story of “Do You Have Your Gotham?” I will be quoting many things from Mr. Staub’s book, and I highly recommend his book. I will also be mixing it with whatever God gives me, such as the : Judge Every Day Inspired and Jesus Every Day Intense.

Bottom line is…I want to hear God. I want to be inspired. I want to grow in Christ. I want to have a fresh fire. And I hope you want all these things too. I do not find today’s Christian inspiring. So I’m looking for a different picture and I think Mr. Staub has something here. So I am going to recommend it, share it, add my own mix to it and offer it to whosoeverwill. I hope you enjoy and grow thereby. I hope these words meet a spiritual hunger in you too. No longer inspired by the typical Christian and hungry for something more. “May the Lord of the Force be with us all.”

“The broken will.”

It is hard to find a good teaching on the subject of “the broken will”. It is probably one of the most misunderstood of the power-house virtues because of the fact it is so poorly taught that it turns people off, causing them to run, and yet God’s word teaches over and over again, of the power of humility, obedience, being a servant, walking in unity, and many other things that will never happen without a breaking of our own will, a surrender.

The broken will does not mean broken strength, it means unity of purpose!

It is hard to find good teaching that brings out the beauty of the above statement, and yet that is what I believe the story I have been led of God to write, “The Encounter”, is in the process of doing. “Surrender is a power-house virtue.” The eagle is a picture of this spiritual truth. I don’t really know if anyone is reading this story, because my numbers seem to be dropping, not growing.

I may do a deep teaching of the subject some day, but not in this article, because I believe a “story” can teach it better. Surrender and soaring is a beautiful life, but how does it work, and how do we get there? This is what “The Encounter” is about. So if you see the value of such a book, you might not want to stick it on a shelf to gather dust, and never read.

Here is a small promotional for “The Encounter”, just so you can make an educated decision on whether to sacrifice the time and effort to read it, or not. I can only tell you that in my own studies it can be hard to find material that actually “INSPIRES” a person to desire surrender, a broken will. IT IS THE BROKEN WINGS THAT SOAR!

I believe we all need more surrender towards God in our life, and anything teaching it in an inspiring way, is a treasure. I am so convinced of the power of this story, that even if my numbers drop to zero, it will still be written, and it will still be here, because God has said to make it available, whether anyone recognizes it or not.

Dan, the main character, is on a journey, and he is about to learn that with God there is a supernatural walk available that far surpasses anything this world has to offer, for we are not called to live an “ordinary” life. Ordinary…ordinary…ordinary. How boring the eagle says, and yet birds flock to it every day, because we have wings, and we love to flap, flap, flap. I cannot give too many details away, but if you know someone that might be helped by this subject, and might read it “because” it is in “story form”, like a parable, then please tell them about it. You might open the door to a whole new life for them.

I started to write the next chapter today, but as I looked at the numbers I was attacked by the thought of, “Why?” Why bother? Maybe this is not what people want? Then the Holy Spirit checked me and said, “No, but it is what they need.” So I decided I would make one attempt to give the story a boost, a promo, an alert as to what is here. There will be no more alerts. I am simply going to keep writing until it is done. If the story is connecting with you, it sure would be nice to hear so, but be that as it may, “The Encounter” shall be written.

If my writings are helping anyone, then there are plenty already here, still to be read, and I will write a new one

from time to time, but not often. I would love to see more people read the ones already written. But as for me?

A man by the name of Donald Miller wrote something that sent me on a path, a trail. Now I’m ready for more action,

and less words. I have some men helping me. We are a posse out to arrest the devil. A Holy Ghost posse, and some Rescue

Rangers. They have bound together with me, and we have stepped in the gap to help a person in need. We will help him with

both our words and our actions.

Whenever there is a need that goes unmet, it causes a “GAP”. The gap is there for anyone to step in and meet that need, and

help that person. However, if no one steps in, then the devil continues to pound that person mercilessly into the ground, and

convince them that no one cares, nothing is real, and everyone is fake. He kicks them while they are down, until they give up,

lose hope, and the devil wins. I have some men who are willing to be led. All they needed was a vision.

We all have limited funds to be able to give of our money, so we had to get more creative. I’ve been working hard to coordinate, organize, direct, and energize these men to help me supply a yard sale, at my house, in order to bring in money to help those in need. The first one was planned for this last Saturday, but we had rain most of the day. I only had a 2 hour window to open the yard sale, and we made $65 in that short time on a bad day! Over $30/ hour!

I drive my truck to church on Sundays, and people fill the back of it with donations. I drive it home and it goes into the yard sale that next Saturday. We have a man, 58 years old, and we are helping him fight cancer. We are standing with him in his battle to show the love of Christ in action.

I love blogging, but I have already seen much more results from the yard sale, and people I am meeting, than I have in over a year of blogging. It has been fun, but I’m more of a results oriented guy, and I simply have not been seeing the kind of results I had always hoped for. As I said, there is plenty here to read if anyone wants to, and I still plan to do some Shadow Humor, because she is an endless source of such things, and perhaps an article now and then.

I believe in the articles contained at this site. I believe they can do anyone good who decides to read them. I am especially fond of the ones that started at the “I’m Not Superman” series. Vengeance Trail, and the Rough Riders are favorites of mine also. These articles started me down a path, and then Donald Miller put it in a picture I had not seen before, but then it clicked, and I’ve been riding the horse hard ever since, and loving it! Thanks, Donald. Hope you read these words. From your friend on the other mountain, thanks.

The smell in the air, the stench, if you want to call it that, whatever it was, it burned the inside of your nostrils as you breathed it. I had been to New York City once before, and I saw the twin towers standing. I saw Freedom Tower standing, and now it had been just ten days since they fell. My oldest son and I made a trip to that area to have a chance to get quiet before God and ask…”What is going on?” And perhaps, “What is coming?” We did a 3 day water only fast leading up to it. We broke the fast when we entered NYC. We came in the middle of the night, found a parking spot, slept in our cargo minivan, and the next day we hopped on 2 bicycles and started peddling towards the rubble to get as close as we could. (I must say riding a bicycle in NYC is a real adventure! I believe they made a movie about it.)

You could only get so close. We saw cars covered in ash and dust. We saw the smoke rising from the pile of devastation that lay a little ways from us. Others were straining to see, too. Every so often the wind would change a little affording a shift in the rising smoke and you could catch a better glimpse of the wreckage.

Just a little ways off was a very small park with a few benches to sit on. My son and I separated to different benches, to get alone, to get quiet, to pray, and hear God. My son had a dream on the way to NYC. The dream has proven to be very meaningful, and if there is enough interest I will tell the dream in the next article.

However, this article is about what I heard and what God has shown me. I am a faithful journaler. I have been for about twenty years. So, of course, I happened to write what I felt in my gut that day, as I sat on a park bench with sunshine all around me, a stench in the air, and I started to pray, seek, and question.

I will try to take a photo of the journal entry for the next article. That is the best I can do as a way to offer some proof of what I am about to say. I have shown it to others and it is absolute proof of what I am sharing. I have the date down as 9/21/01 (Friday), 4:15 pm. Now remember, at this time our country had no financial crises that I am aware of. Due to a certain balance of powers, whoever gets credit for it politically, we came out of the Clinton years in pretty good financial condition. At this time, also, President Bush had not declared war on Iraq and charged it on a credit card! (That did not start till March 16, 2003). The housing bubble was still a long ways from bursting, too, and there was no President Obama who would take the debt football and continue to run with it! I say all this just to clarify that what I heard came from God and not some news event. After praying and listening, I penned these words in my journal…

“I think the Twin Towers was just the bait, and we are taking the bait. I think the devil wants to break America’s money. Get us over extended. Cause the world to hate us even more, then destroy us.”

As impossible as any of that may sound, fast forward eleven years and we are 16 Trillion dollars in debt and still climbing! Also, I believe there is evidence that the drone attacks have killed many innocents. This very impersonal way of killing by robot is not earning us any friends in the middle east, and likely causing what will be a huge wave of revenge someday.

I see radical Islam as a real threat not only to the Jew, but to Christians, and also to what America used to be as a Christian nation. Notice I am being politically correct here, by saying “radical Islam”, but the question is as to what percent of Islam is radical? Since it is honorable to lie for the cause of Allah, whose to say who is really peaceful, and who is not? Even their greatest Prophet, Muhammad, set an example when he entered into a 10 year peace treaty with (I forget who), but was building up the entire time he was with them, and then 2 years into the 10 year treaty he broke it and easily conquered them!

I don’t have time to do a teaching on the two son’s of Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac, but this holy war goes all the way back to then! Consider these two scriptures!

“And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned. And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.”   (Genesis 21:8-9)

In this scripture we are given the details that Ishmael was seen “mocking” Isaac, but…we have another detail given to us in Galatians 4: 28-29.

“Now we, brethern, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.”

Notice it says “persecuted”! And I checked the Greek word and that is exactly what it means! The persecution started between Ishmael and Isaac and continues even unto this day! As a born again child of God we have entered into Abraham’s family and have become children after the promise also! And let me tell you plainly, Ishmael is still pursuing Isaac! Of which we are!  This is personal! And those who do not take it personal will have a very rude awakening someday.

So a mosque at Ground Zero? I guess our leaders really are that godless to have so little understanding to know what is happening. Obviously I’m not as smart as they are, or I wouldn’t be blaming this on Ishmael, but had they known of what I heard from God on that day, and wrote it down, perhaps we could have avoided a 16 Trillion dollar debt! I can hear Ishmael mocking even now.

So a couple of weeks ago I decided to go for a bike ride. It just happened to be on the same bicycle I rode that day in NYC. I came to a road crossing and I got stopped by a vehicle approaching pulling a trailer and some flags flying. I had noticed a military helicopter circling overhead and was beginning to wonder what was going on?

I believe that when we walk in the Spirit, God orders our steps. I just happened to be at just the right spot at just the right time, on the same bicycle, to see a trailer passing by with a huge American flag drapped over it. To me it reminded me of a military funeral. The object underneath was shaped kind of like a large casket. It was then I remembered there was supposed to be a piece of the I-beam from the fallen towers in Indianapolis that week! Evidently it was being transported under that huge flag! And that is when I said to myself, “Freedom Tower is dead, and what is rising up from its ashes, in its place, is a monument to a One World order.”

Now I am just an average person who is trying to understand this religion that claims to want peace with us, and to have a place of so-called interfaith. (Even though the child of the bondservant will have no part with the child of promise.) The polls show that at least 70% of Americans were against that facility being so close to Ground Zero. As just an average person I have a hard time trying to understand this olive branch of peace being offered by a religion that has so little respect for the feelings of those they are trying to reach. I’m not interested in interfaith with Islam, but if you want me to treat you with respect, back off my holy ground!

Ahh, but wiser ones than I are calling the shots. I hear Ishmael mocking!

Here are a few pictures of my bike ride and the bike I rode in NYC.

“Unexpected Turns”

There is about to be a couple of new additions of interest added to this blog site. I will soon begin to write about both of these but the purpose of this article is to simply wet the appetites and alert the antennas of any one who might be interested.

1. I’m in search of a puppy for whom my truck will become his/her doghouse!

2. I have decided to learn more about the Islam religion, and I hope to share my questions and concerns here. That’s right, there is a lot I don’t understand about Islam, so I bought a Quran and another book to help me. I suspect I am not the only one who has questions concerning current events, and it would help if I better understood their Prophet, and their book. (I’ll say more a little farther down.)

First of all I have decided it is about time this cowboy had a dog!

Yes, that is what I said, a dog. There is a story that goes with me “not” having a dog at this time. I had a very special mutt not long ago. She was mostly a Boston Terrier with not a perfect, but still a very awesome black and white suit. She was the “Little Butler”. Of all my dogs she was my favorite. I don’t want to get to far into details because those things will be part of future writings, but I was away for a few days and when I got back I found her very sick and she passed away very quickly. It is still a mystery to me as to what so suddenly took her? My wife said it had all been very sudden. Anyway, I just didn’t want another dog after that. I’m not sure what we could have done for her had we had time to get her to a vet? Everything is so expensive, and with raising five children there was not a lot of spare cash to go around.

Recently, I had the joy of reliving my memory of B.D., which were the initials of her name. As a matter of fact, I recreated her in a book I have written and is now being published. No, you won’t find me in big bookstores, but there will be a website, and perhaps this is part of my reason for once again wanting a dog. I wrote the book a few years ago but only recently finally connected with a publisher, and as I have sat here proof reading the first copy, in some ways I have relived my favorite dog.

The book is not a dog story, even though she plays a big part. It is actually about America at a cross-roads, and an old man named, Jonah Joe, who has a dog named B.D., and how they confront the new world order agenda with the truth of God’s word. Christmas outside the four walls of your house has been made illegal! The book is called : “The Last Christmas of Jonah Joe”, and I had a great time writing it. More details of the story will come soon!

However, I am not planning on doing a repeat of B.D. I will be showing pictures of this soon, but I have fixed up the back of my Dodge Ram to be the doghouse for my new pup, when I find her. He/she will go with me about everywhere I go. She will be able to go from camper shell into the cab directly through the window. She will need to be a small dog and able to take outdoor weather. Even though she will come in our house when I’m home, and also have a fenced in yard to play in, still, I intend for the truck to be her main home. The name of the dog will be revealed soon. I have no idea how he/she will come to me? I’m checking with the animal shelter, but pups go quickly and so far I have had no luck. I have plenty of time and when the right one comes along, I’ll be ready.

So…upcoming articles will include my new book and also my search for a pup (breed/mutt) to be a mascot for my truck. I’m sure there will be plenty of stories for me to tell as this dog and I figure out together just how our friendship will be, and what kind of adventures we shall have.

Now as far the other subject: Religion/ Islam.

I have a lot of questions. These are things I am aware of but do not understand. For instance, I have already confirmed what I had heard that Islamic faith believes Jesus to have been born in a miraculous fashion with no involvement of a man. Mary is with child from God. Sura 19 explains at least some of it. I find this very interesting, but what I don’t understand is how, if they actually believe this about Jesus, then why would they place any other man in a higher level of importance than this one born from God? They take  Muhammad’s revelations over the Jewish accounts of the men who walked with him. This just does not make sense to me. I can see their version of all the details are very different, but yet the apostles actually walked with this one born of God, whereas Muhammad was born as a man like the rest of us. Is this confusing to anyone besides me? I am interested in comments concerning this.

Another question: When I worked as a Correctional Officer, I got to see first hand how African-Americans seem to be particularly drawn to the Muslim religion. I just can’t quite make the connection as to why this attraction for them is there? I know Farrakhan has a lot of influence, but is this the only reason? What is the attraction? (I admit my ignorance here. Perhaps my studies will eventually help me understand, or perhaps a reader can clue me in.)

On June 2, 2012, I posted “Christian Trail of Tears – Part 2”. In it I talked about the One World Trade Center being built in Manhattan, NYC. I talked about my concerns for what it stands for, and how the name of “Freedom Tower” was rejected. This is not a new subject with me. I have had my eye on this since the Towers were attacked in 2001. However, I don’t know how I missed it, but somehow the Muslim (Interfaith) Facility (Mosque), which was being strongly protested, somehow got approved and is already underway only two blocks from Ground Zero! What happened? The polls say at least 70% of people are against it and yet, once again, something else is being shoved down our throats whether we want it or not! Our opinion doesn’t count! Why does it seem there is a secret “agenda” being played out that the rest of us are not allowed to know? Or do we know? We just can’t get the participants to make a confession!

The Cordoba House Muslim facility is to be 13 stories tall. So now we have two buildings rising in that area I am so concerned about. If I were going to put this to a movie, I would say the Avengers” pretty well nailed it as the portal was open over Stark Tower and aliens were pouring in!

Okay, I’ve said plenty to begin to set the stage for future articles coming to this site. If you are a dog lover, I believe I will have some good pictures and fun stories coming soon about a dog who lives in a Dodge Ram truck.

If you, too, have questions concerning the 2nd largest religion in the world, Islam, then perhaps you might like to grow and understand with me, and hopefully there will be some who can actually help us understand together, the things we really need to know about the Muslim religion which is filling more and more of our country, and our world, even as I speak. How long will it remain #2? Is it possible it could become #1? Has Christianity become too complacent? All very good questions.

“Make the Devil wish he never Touched you!”

I guess “Job” would be one of my ghost! Here is my take on the story of Job. First, he was an example of a supernatural Christian as he built such a powerful hedge of protection the devil could not even penetrate it! God “himself” had to lower it for the devil to even get in! You ask if Job built the wall, or God? Well, both! God empowered Job’s hedge of protection based on things that Job did. Job understood the supernatural! God is supernatural and therefore Job understood God, and God responded to his prayers! He knew how to pray a supernatural prayer! He knew how to talk God’s language, as Pastor Trent would say! He understood how to use supernatural tools better than Harry Potter! (Job makes Harry Potter look like an antichrist! Ooops, did I say something I shouldn’t?) Harry Potter couldn’t hold a stick to Job!

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God, and turned away from evil.” (Job 1:1 RSV)

So the question might be asked: Why would God do such a thing? I see two answers here. One: God knew the devil was no match for Job and he likes to see the devil get a good thumpin! You have the power! Make the devil wish he never touched you! Make him regret it! He’ll think twice before he touches you again! Make him pay! Turn the thing to your good and do good with it! I call it spiritual vengence! The Apostle Paul knew all about it and practiced regularly! Let it drive you to call on God more! Let it cause you to rise to another level! Let it make you so mad at the devil that you actually go looking for him to pay him back double! You become the hunter, not the prey! But like Job, you need to hone your supernatural skills before going on a mission of vengence. If the devil’s attack makes you so mad that you get serious with God, become strong in “his” ways, and become a spiritual avenger, now the devil is beginning to think twice. Just like he wishes he never crucified Christ! (Get the picture?) As a royal priest of God we should be able to bring down the thunder! If you have not looked at your priesthood in this manner before, then shift your paradigm, open your mind, and get a supernatural perspective! Let that be the new template in your head and chase that ghost till you get it! (Praise the Lord I think I’m preaching!)

The second reason is like I said, Job was ready to go to an even higher level and God knew he needed a good fight to get him there. Remember, Job’s family was not following in his ways, and the judgement that befell them was because they themselves had left themselves wide open. You cannot get to heaven on someone else’s anointing! Parent’s prayers may save you for a while, but eventually God is going to expect you to stand or fall on your own. There is a spiritual warfare going on this planet that cannot be seen with the naked eye, but it is very real. Ignore it at your own risk! Stay blind to it at your own peril!

“They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.  (Job: 24:13)

The devil wished he never touched Job. If we know how…all things work together to the good to them that love God and are the called according to his purposes! That is a supernatural Hammer from God that we can beat the devil over the head with until he crumbles beneath our feet! (Over the years I have grown to hate the devil, and I have found that good ground to stand on. I hunt him and arrest him every where I can.)

I can see the subject of Job needs a lot more exploration than I have time for now. Get a strong vision of the person God is calling you to be. Identify the ghost in your head and pursue him until you are him! And make the devil pay! Praise God forever!

From this you should have learned:

1.) Job was walking in some kind of power that is available to us, too!

2.) Job understood “supernatural” Christianity, even though Christ had not come yet.

3.) Job did not look like he was winning, and like any battle, there was pain and loss involved, but in the supernatural he was keeping the pressure on! He fought with “spiritual” skills in “harmony” with God’s “design”, and in the end it all worked to his good! Not only that, but because he gave the devil a thump’n, the devil will think long and hard before attacking Job again. Job became an even greater testimony for God! And the devil can’t afford that!

4.) Don’t judge how the battle is going based on what things “look” like! Stay in faith! Keep the pressure on! Fight as only a warrior “Priest” can fight and you will win!

5.) Job could not protect his family forever. They needed to learn what he knew, instead of disregarding the ways of “the old man”.
