“…for when I am weak, then am I strong.” Signed: Apostle Paul / II Cor. 12:10
Before we go farther into this, let me confirm this is still a samurai message about mastery. We do not understand that if we want to be strong against Satan, we must be weak towards God.
What do I mean by that?
We’ve got to stop resisting God. We’ve got to recognize spiritual pride in our life. We’ve got to be able to pray, “Thy will be done”, and mean it. We need to humble ourself in prayer. We need to understand that obedience is better than sacrifice. Why do you say to me, Lord, Lord, and yet you do not do what I say? We are not weak towards God, we resist God, and then the devil defeats us because we are as a ronin samurai without a master, who does not know what it means to not be his own.
“Submit yourselves therefore unto God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
God resist the proud. I do not mean to write a lot on this in this article, because I have already written on this extensively if you simply go up to the header bar and click on “X-Superman”. My new understanding of what it means to be weak towards God has been opening incredible doors for me. I cannot recommend the “X-Superman” articles highly enough. But I will leave you with this one more very powerful scripture.
“For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge!” (II Cor. 7:11)
Be sure to study that scripture closely because you should see a stairway to higher living in that verse, but notice where it starts. It starts in a place weak towards God, but ends in a powerful vengeance trail! We must be careful not to skip a single step in that holy staircase. If you want to know more, the “X-Superman” button awaits you. What does it mean to be a Samurai Bride?
